I just picked up the Saga TPB and it’s amazing. I’ve really enjoyed Batwoman, this year. As big a fan as I am of Batman as a whole, that title as a whole has really been the best that has come out of the New 52, by far in my opinion. Captain Marvel is great. I’m a little biased, but I’ve enjoyed the Spike: BtVS spinoff. I’m behind on it, but I enjoyed the issues of Revival I’ve managed to pick up.

  2. Bee says:

Saga is one of my favorites this year. I even gave my brother the first trade for Christmas. I also love Hawkeye, Fables, Fairest, and Captain Marvel.

  3. kara says:

Hawkeye has been my favorite title this year! Clint is fabulous…………though I do miss Hawkeye & Mockingbird! :/
Batgirl & Wonder Woman have also been fabulous! :)

Saga was one of my favorites this year. I also loved the AvX stuff, even with all it’s problems. I love the new Captain Marvel comic. This year I spent a lot of time reading my way through Fables (yes I know, I am late to the game!) and sadly continued to avoid DC Comics.

  5. Dianna says:

    I really enjoyed Saga!

  6. Christina says:

Has to be Hawkeye for me, honestly one of the best things to come out of 2012. That and Lil Gotham!

  7. Sarah says:

Loving Hawkeye, too, but my favourite book of the year has gotta be Daredevil. DD’s been having phenomenal run after phenomenal run for the past ten years with very few stumbles, and Waid’s living up to what came before while carving out some totally new and exciting territory.

i don’t know if i had a straight up favorite but i always enjoy fables. i am actually quite behind in my comics pile and need to catch up. saga looks awesome and i hope to read it soon.

  9. Jennifer says:

I have been really enjoying X-men Legacy V2, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel and I wasn’t expecting to enjoy All-New-X-men but I am.

  10. Matt Goldey says:

Hands-down the best comic of 2012 has been SAGA. In fact, I rank it among the all-time best comics I’ve ever read. I’ve been a fan of Brian K. Vaughan for a long time. I’ve read all of Ex Machina and Y: The Last Man multiple times and have also been slowly trying to collect everything else he’s written. But as good as his previous work has been, SAGA is even better. And Fiona Staples’ art… WOW. I’d never heard of her before SAGA. She is just AMAZING.

I normally try to stick to buying trade paperbacks, but there’s no way I could make myself wait for the SAGA trade. I’ve been buying every issue monthly (and I also bought the first trade, at $10 it’s a steal).
