  • 667131_operation-sin-4Convergence #1: I have to at least check this out, if only to see what the heck DC is doing. At least they seem to have gotten the jump on Marvel in both their “ALL THE WORLDS COLLIDE WE’RE BRINGING BACK OLD STORIES NOTHING IS THE SAAAAAME” thing they have going on this year.
  • Gotham Academy Endgame #1: I have no idea what this whole Endgame thing is, but it’s Gotham Academy. I’m down.
  • Operation S.I.N. #4: I’m so glad this mini series exists, even if it’s ending soon. It’s been tons of fun.
  • Spider-Gwen #3: Uh, basically all I have is a YAAAAYYYYY!

  • Rocket Raccoon 10Spider-Gwen #3: I really love everything about this book. I really hope that Gwen gets to stay in her own sandbox at the end of Secret Wars (though I’m not counting on it), because watching everything unfold in a slightly different way in her universe is ridiculously refreshing.
  • Rocket Raccoon #10: Light week for me, so I’m really hoping to catch up on this one.
  • Rick and Morty #1: Rick and Morty the cartoon is one that just hits on my exact favorite kind of humor and if the new book is anything like it, I’m definitely going to be here for the long run.

  • Avengers 43Avengers #43: Three issues until Time Runs Out. [collapses into quivering heap of anticipation that can only hiss “sssssecret warsssss” at people]
  • Cyclops #12: …looks like a Black Vortex tie-in? Here’s how much I like Cyclops: I’m going to catch up on Black Vortex to read it. Also because the solicit reminded me that crossover involves All-New Jean Grey and I like All-New Jean Grey. Give her a solo book where she has space pirate adventures, y’know?
  • Spider-Gwen #3: I don’t know what to call the Spider-Gwenverse except for… the Gwenverse. Anyway, Gwenverse Frank Castle! That’s not gonna go swell.

  • Batman and Robin Annual 3Batman and Robin Annual #3: What a teeny, tiny week! All the more to enjoy one of the last Bruce and Damian stories pre-Convergence.
  • Avengers #43: TIME RUNS OUT. But not this month. While I’m super jazzed about a lot of elements of Secret Wars, I’m almost sad the build-up is nearly over.

About Angel

A 30 year old everything-nerd living in the southern United States. I devour films and British television like it's my job. My first love is Marvel and the X-Men, but Batman and all of his little helper birds are quickly weaseling their way in.
